I want a son.
They say it isn’t a woman’s place to teach a boy how to become a man. But I need a son, so I can pass along all that I’ve learned in my short 25 years so far about who and what a man should be. I’ve learned from bad examples… but I’ve learned from good examples too. And yes, I do want a daughter — I’d love to have daughters and sons — but there’s this … something indescribable … inside me that won’t ignore my need to raise up a son.
I need to break the cycle that us daughters are going through. So I will raise a king.
